Meet Luna! The Leucistic Screech Owl
This past week I went to the Punta Gorda Peace River Wildlife Center where I met
Luna! Luna is a one-of-a-kind Screech Owl. He is Leucistic which means he
can not get pigment in his feathers. This is why he is white and
not the typical grey color of Screech Owls.

The temperature during the day in Punta Gorda is in the 90's so I went with a
flowy, breathable (this is very important in these hot temperatures), and patterned
top with boyfriend jean shorts!
Side Note: when dressing in hot climates, patterns are great if you are
afraid of any sweat showing.
