Moana Bikini Review

I finally made the plunge and purchased a Moana Bikini! I went with buying an all black top and bottom and also purchased a red triangle top (review here) while the items were on sale near the end of their current collections season. I was excited to do a shoot in this bikini and really love the little black bikini look! Their pieces fit like a glove and here is my full review on not only these pieces but helpful info on ordering and their sizing!

Must know ordering tips:
First off Moana Bikini is an Australian company. What I failed to realize at first is that all of the prices on their website are in AUD (Australian Currency). This means that depending on the current exchange rate this price is actually more then what you will be spending in USD (United States Currency). This was great news because for all three of my pieces I thought I would be spending $120 PLUS $27 for shipping when in reality that was AUD and I really only ended up spending $84 PLUS $19 for Shipping in USD.

Also, if there is a certain style or color combo you are interested in I suggest you buy it when you see it available. They rarely re stock and typically the more popular pieces sell out quickly. The more basic pieces will be the last ones to sell and they are the ones that can typically be found near the end of the season when a new launch is about to happen and they are usually on sale! (like the pieces I purchased)

Sizing:
I ordered a Medium Top in Both the tube top style and the spaghetti triangle style. They are extremely comfortable but think that I actually could have ordered the small for both if that was the only size left. It is mainly when I am actually in the water that the tops get a little loose and the smalls would have also worked. I am on the smaller side of a 34B so both sizes would have fit!

I ordered a Small Bottom (the black adrift pant to be exact) which is the more coverage style bottom. These bottoms certainly are not modest but do provide more coverage then their other popular style bottoms which I would have ordered in a medium. I was pleasantly surprised to find the front coverage to be normal and not too small which is the impression I got from the website images for their particular style. The small bottoms fit perfectly in and out of the water!

Additional Details:
A good amount of Moana Bikinis are reversible but I did not get any pieces that technically were. The tube top could be reversible but it is just black on both sides. Both the Red Triangle top and the Black Bottoms I bought have a printed label on the inside of the pieces so they could not be switched inside out at all.

I am a huge supporter of Moana Bikinis and love the message behind their brand. Their hard work certainly pays off with some amazing bikinis as a result! I would check out their current sale pieces on their website now and stay tuned for their new collection launching hopefully before the end of November 2015!!
